Set before Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, The story follows the Titans Test Team, Black Otter Team, on their mission to test new mobile suits for the Titans. It begins with Eliard Hunter, an Earth Federation mobile suit pilot being assigned to the Titans and transferring to the Aswan, an Alexandria class carrier. There he meets Carl Matsubara, another new Titans recruit, Audrey April a skilled pilot and chief of test operations and data gathering, and Wes Murphy, a veteran of the One Year War and the Delaz Conflict. The Black Otter team doesn’t just carry out test runs, it also participates in real combat missions against Zeon Remnants and later, against AEUG.

Many heroes have fought through the eras. Soldiers play a sonorous melody, their traces shaping the course of history. Even now, their stories shall be read from a corner of the Pantheon. For those with regrets in their hearts, the battle begins. This is a tale of heroes who fell in space.

I. White Wolf of Rainbows: There was once a man called the White Wolf of Solomon. A man who was even said to be the right hand man of Vice Admiral Dozle Zabi, the commander of the Principality of Zeon’s Space Assault Force. The year 0079 of the Universal Century was a year painted with death and destruction, all in the name of Zeon’s war for independence. So how did that man live through those times? This is the story that traces his paths…

The year is Universal Century 0096, and Banagher Links is a student at the Anaheim Electronics Industrial College training facility at an incomplete space colony. There, he rescues a girl named Audrey Burne and helps her to evade capture by Zeon remnants known as the Sleeves. The Sleeves are after "Laplace's Box" an item the Vist Foundation has had in its possession since the beginning of the Universal Century which can be used to topple the Earth Federation government, and Cardeas Vist, the head of the family plans to hand them the key to it. Audrey, fearful of what will happen, wants to convince Vist not to give them the key. The Earth Federation's Londo Bell unit attacks the Sleeves and Banagher is drawn into the chaos.

Adapted from the light novel series that were later adapted into a feature film series, the first of which has already been released this February 2010.
